Well I can't lie.... We did it!

25 years ago Susanna and I got married in overlooking the padi fields of Ubud, Bali, with just a small selection of our close friends and family.

So naturally I'm a big believer in doing things your own way and going against the herd.

If you're tempted to get 'Handfasted' nest to a mountain stream, or married on the shoreline, then I feel it's even more important to have it all captured, delicately, non-intrusively and lovingly.

One of my absolute favourite things about sharing a destination / elopement wedding is not the travel...

Honestly, I've done all that....

It's getting to know the couple really well and being invited to be part of such a small and special group.

To witness their love coming together in a life-times promise.

To be able to capture all of this on photo and film

so that they can share with everyone and treasure it themselves over the years to come.
